Nichols plc is a multi million pound international business, specialising in soft drinks and dispense systems.

Nichols plc can trace its development back to the establishment of Vimto, a fruit flavoured cordial, created by John Noel Nichols in 1908, Since then, the company has developed progressively, entering new markets abroad and acquiring a number of companies along the way.

From its headquarters in the North West the company currently comprises two operations - Soft Drinks and Dispense Systems.

Vimto Soft Drinks have been trading via edi for approximately 13 years. We currently operate SageLine 500 and use the Magma integrated software for edi.

Magma offers us a seamless transition of orders from our customers into our Sage system, along with the facility to download and transmit invoice files to our customers.

We currently have the capability to use EDI for Orders, Invoices, Debit Notes, Remittances and a Planning Report.

Each of these file types are automatically brought into or sent out from our systems by a scheduled task that connects to our Mailbox at regular intervals. If there are any problems with this connection, we are notified by e-mail. This allows us to pick up and deal with any queries promptly.

We have always used Cindercone for our support and have found them to be very helpful, professional and always offer a prompt response.
