Our challenge is to be able to use a versatile and dynamic sales tool which links regularly to our SAP accounting system. Previous attempts to use a front end to SAP as a sales tool were not successful. We came across Onsight app which met our requirements exactly. So the challenge that we presented to Cindercone was to create a secure and robust link that would allow the two systems to work together.
We implemented SAP 2007 as our accounting software. This was a major investment both in time and money and many staff had their doubts along the way. However, SAP has become the backbone of our business and it is vital that any add-on systems can link into SAP.
Onisght app. was the ideal sales app for us but it would have been totally useless if we could not get it to communicate with SAP. We approached Cindercone with the problem and within a short space of time the solution was identified and implemented. We now have a seamless integration of Onisght into our SAP accounting software which means our sale steam have complete confidence that their sales orders are processed automatically, that stock figures showing on their iPads are completely up-to-date, that the stages of order processing ca be tracked and monitored for follow up.
We have worked with Cindercone since 2007 with EDI set-up with all of our customers. Whatever challenges we have thrown at Cindercone they have always been able to address them in a professional and timely manner. On this latest project we dared to hope that these connection could be established and once again Cindercone were able to use their expertise to provide a solution. While this link-up is taken for granted in our everyday work it is one of the key strategic improvements our business has made in the last 5 years. This could not have been done without Cindercone's comprehensive knowledge of our systems and their expertise in this field.

Working with Cindercone fills me with confidence. Professional at all times, they are on hand every step of the way to ensure smooth implementation of my EDI projects. It is a massive benefit to have direct access to such knowledgeable and skilled people, always willing to provide assistance and guide you through the process with the utmost thought and precision.
As we increasingly dealt with more sophisticated trading partners at the Authentic Food Company, our requirements for electronic ordering and invoicing increased dramatically. We needed a completely unattended EDI solution, which was both flexible and powerful, but would not overburden our internal IT resource.
After examining the range of products available to us, we chose the Cindercone Magma solution. Magma allows us to meet the requirements of all our trading partners, and seamlessly integrates with our SAP ERP system to provide an automated flow of orders and invoices through our system; reducing the burden on our sales department and reducing the possibility of error.
As IT manager, Magma keeps me informed of any problems via the automated email system, and provides me with a full set of tools to managing and auditing the system .

Icon has been working with Cindercone for over 10 years. There are 3 distinct areas that Cindercone has worked on:
All of these solutions have been put in place to reduce the administrative load on the employee’s within Icon, allowing them to concentrate on running the business. It has also reduced human error and provides Icon’s retailers with a more timely process from Icon receiving the order to despatching it to the customer/retailer.
Data between all 3rd party logistics and warehousing companies have been automated through Magma allowing Icon to structure the picking and despatch process throughout Europe.
The integration between Sage and its websites has allowed Icon to manage this part of the business with minimal human resources. Again this allows Icon to utilise its employee’s time to develop this part of the business instead of being weighed down with manual order processing and stock updates.

We bought CTI for SAP B1 because we wanted a method of working out who was calling us in advance of answering, and the time efficiency savings in bringing up a customer’s details as soon as the phone is answered were compelling
We use CTI to bring up customer details when the phone is answered and to easily make outgoing calls to customers at the click of a mouse. The very useful logging feature of all calls as SAP activities allows us to easily analyse call statistics to better inform us of how phone calls impact our business.
Cindercone are good to work with because they can be relied upon to quickly make additions or changes to their code, fixing bugs and supporting new features – if you need something, they’ll do it fast. This is especially valuable with a service like CTI as there are inherent complexities in many stages of the process, namely with having to support a huge variety of phone systems. Fortunately the work Cindercone do allow their solution to work seamlessly with any phone system, which is very valuable for businesses of any size.
Laleham acquired Univeral Products who used the Magma solution to integrate with Sage. The solution has now been ported to Navision and Magma is still in use
Universal Products are a market leader in the contract manufacturing of personal care and pharmaceutical liquids who produce in excess of 1 million bottles per week.
One of Universal customers who are a big European high street retailer required Universal to move to an EDI and Advanced shipping note system which incorporated batch traceability to pack and pallet level. Universal use Sage line 500 so needed a solution which would seamlessly integrate the different systems together. This first appeared to be a daunting task and we enrolled the help of Cindercone solutions Ltd
At the first meeting it became apparent to us that Cindercone were professionals and could guide us through the many pitfalls that may arise and there were quite a few. We went live 6 months ago with no disruption to the business, Cindercone were always on hand to promptly fix any problems that arose. We now have a great system which has increased our efficiency and reduced the possibility of errors from purchase order receipt through to the final invoice of the goods. I Would not hesitate in recommending Cindercone to any other company looking for an EDI solution.

We have our salesforce integrated with Sage 50 to generate our invoices in Sage and process payments from Sage to Salesforce. We researched many different integration providers but Cindercone was the only one that fit our needs perfectly. The Magma integration was quick & easy and fulfilled all of our order & payment processing needs. The people at Cindercone were friendly, professional and extremely easy to work with. Their knowledge of both sage and salesforce gave us a great deal of confidence in their ability to produce the results we were expecting and they did not disappoint.
The ease of access to Cindercone's support staff is another huge benefit. They were easy to contact, quick to respond and were very helpful throughout the integration process.
Winter’s school finder ltd is a digital listing of International schools that accept English speaking students. Schools sign up to an annual subscription to host a profile about their school on our site, which parents looking to move abroad can use to view and compare schools in their destination country.
Our Sales team use Salesforce as our database, as it gives us the customisation that we need to capture all of the information about the schools so we can target them in a responsible manner, as well as including all the relevant reporting and task management facilities required by management.
Because we offer a number of products and promotions, and deal with schools in a number of different countries, we need a flexible invoicing system, that allows us to tailor templates quickly while still capturing the necessary information for our accounts team. We found that while excellent in some regards, Salesforce in built invoicing system didn’t work for us.
Our accounts team were already using Sage, and all information was being manually entered from Salesforce in to Sage, which was proving time consuming, and exposed risk if information was entered incorrectly.
As a consequence, I wanted to investigate integrating Sage and Salesforce so that Opportunity information entered in to Salesforce would automatically create a customer, and an associated invoice, in Sage. I had hoped it would be possible for Sage to then add the invoice that was created to the relevant Opportunity in Salesforce.
I had initially approached another company to do this who had been recommended by our IT support team, however I was not impressed with their customer service, and they did not seem overly interested in working with us to customise a solution that worked for what we needed.
I then contacted Cindercone and the opposite was true when I spoke with Martin. They seemed to understand that what we wanted was not an off the shelf solution, and explained (in a way that I could understand) what would happen.
The delivery of the solution itself was swift once Martin was able to start development, and he worked with me to get all the relevant information across so that the implementation would work.
We now have system where the sales person enters information in to Salesforce and within 5 minutes all of that detail is in Sage and the invoice populated in Salesforce, ready to be sent.
Although at face value the cost of the solution was not cheap, the time saved by streamlining our process means that this implementation will more than pay for itself over the year, and I have every confidence in returning to speak with Cindercone should we require any further customisation in the future.
